Jonesville, VA—Powell Valley National Bank (PVB, Bank) is pleased to announce plans to build a new full-service office in Abingdon, Virginia.
In 2017, PVB opened a loan production office on West Main Street in Abingdon to serve customers in the Greater Washington County area. After one year of business in the market, PVB made a decision to expand its presence in the region with the construction of a new full service branch. PVNB’s newest office will be located in the Walmart Development situated off Lee Highway at 16032 Fifteen Mile Boulevard in Abingdon (Exit 19, Interstate 81). Construction will begin soon and is expected to be completed during the fourth quarter of 2018. The new office will feature a full-service, state of the art facility including a drive thru, ATM, and fully staffed team of experienced banking professionals, with Senior Vice President and Market Executive, Sam Neese, leading the team.

PVB’s loan production office located at 988 West Main Street will continue to serve loan customers until the new office opens.
