Powell Valley National Bank (PVB, Bank) is pleased to announce that Mary Beth Baker, Vice-President Mortgage Lending, was appointed to serve as a member of the Mortgage Executives Committee for the Virginia Bankers Association for the 2014-2015 year. The Mortgage Executives Committee is comprised of lenders from across the State of Virginia, whose function is to assist in providing valuable input relative to education and training, legislation, and various initiatives helpful to the banking industry.
Mary Beth has served as a Community Banker for the past 20-years, working to meet the primary financial and lending needs of her customers an providing valuable assistance in relation to loan administration, mortgage compliance, marketing, and business development. She is a graduate of Tusculum College and the Virginia Banker’s School of Bank Management; and, she actively represents PVB as she participates in opportunities to build relationships within the communities in which we serve
