Jonesville, VA – PVB is pleased to announce Serena Douglas has joined the bank as Senior Vice President and Controller. 

Serena joins PVB with over 30 years of banking experience, including 20 years specializing in accounting and financial management. Most recently, she served as Chief Accounting Officer at her previous financial institution.

Douglas holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting from the University of Virginia’s College at Wise. She is also a member of the SWVA Workforce Board and their Finance Committee. Throughout her career, she has built a reputation for strong attention to detail and a dedication to serving both customers and communities.

Outside of work, Serena enjoys traveling with her husband, going to concerts, and spending time at the beach. A devoted UT fan, she can often be found cheering on the Vols during football and basketball season. She currently resides in Cedar Bluff with her husband and their cat, and treasures time spent with her family, including her son, stepdaughter, and two granddaughters.
