Jonesville, VA – PVB promotes Amy Mellinger, Senior Vice President and Chief Digital Banking Officer, to Chief Operations Officer.
Mellinger joined PVB in 2014, as Electronic Banking Officer with more than 11 years of community banking experience. Throughout her career, she has managed a variety of responsibilities in multiple areas, from loans to electronic banking, to marketing and human resources.
In her most recent role, as PVB’s Chief Digital Banking Officer, Amy led the bank’s digital banking strategy and played a key role in advancing and expanding the Bank’s digital services and products. Under her leadership, PVB strengthened its digital footprint while also maintaining the personalized service that defines community banking. In her new role as Chief Operations Officer, Amy will oversee the Bank’s day to day operations while continuing to drive operational efficiencies, enhance customer experience, and support the bank’s long-term strategic initiatives.

Mellinger holds a bachelor’s degree in management and finance from Clemson University, where she was a member of the women’s swimming and diving team. Amy is a proud 2014 graduate of the Virginia Banker’s School of Bank Management. She has also completed both Forward Wise County and Leadership Washington County, two different leadership programs in the area.
Amy and her husband, Blake, are the parents of two children, Mason and McKenna. They are members of Highlands Fellowship Church and reside in Wise, VA. Outside of work, you’ll find Amy courtside at a basketball game, enjoying a run, or traveling.
