Jonesville, VA – Powell Valley National Bank (PVB) promotes Terri Smith-Perry to Assistant Vice President.

Terri joined PVB in May 2019 and has held a variety of positions such as Relationship Banker, Head Teller, Customer Service Representative, Teller Trainer, and Market Operations Manager. In her current role of Market Operations Manager and Head Teller for our Abingdon Office, she mentors and supports our frontline staff and works closely with customers to meet their financial needs.

When asked what she enjoys most about her career, Terri shared, “I love helping people and find it so rewarding to know that I have made a difference in someone’s day.” With almost 30 years in the banking industry, her customer-focused mindset has been a hallmark of her career and reflects the level of care she brings to every interaction.

A native of Kentucky, Smith-Perry holds an associate’s degree from Prestonsburg Community College. Outside of work, Terri enjoys spending time with her husband, reading a good book, and cheering on the Kentucky Wildcats during basketball season.
