Jonesville, VA- Powell Valley National Bank (PVB, Bank) is pleased to announce the promotion of Karen Wright as Chief Auditor of the Bank.

Karen holds over 20 years of financial industry experience and joined PVB in 2016.  She carries the title of Certified Information Systems Auditor from the ISACA, an international professional association focused on IT governance, and she is a Certified Community Bank Internal Auditor through the Independent Community Bankers of America.

Karen is a native of Washington County, VA.  She is a graduate of Virginia Intermont College with a degree in Organizational Management.  She and her husband, Larry, have two children, Lauren and Justin, along with two twin granddaughters, Eliza and Isabel.   They reside in Bristol, VA.
