Jonesville, Virginia–Powell Valley National Bank (PVB, Bank) is pleased to announce the addition of Ted Fields to senior management staff of the Bank. Fields joins PVB as Market Executive and Senior Vice President, where he will be leading the Bank’s efforts with the opening of its new full-service office in Downtown Kingsport located at 240 West Center Street.

Fields has over 30 years of banking experience in the Kingsport and Greater Tri-Cities region, where he served 10 of those years as an Executive Vice President for TriSummit Bank. Ted has supported the community and the banking industry through numerous civic and professional appointments, volunteer hours, awards, and accomplishments during his career including March of Dimes, Red Cross, United Way of Greater Kingsport-Past President, and the Kingsport Chamber of Commerce. Fields currently serves as Vice-Chairman for the Ballad Health Foundation, Board Member for the United Way of Bristol, Past President of the Rotary Club of Kingsport, a commissioner on the Kingsport Neighborhood Commission, and the KOSBE Advisory Committee.
Ted is a native of Grundy, VA. He is a graduate of East Tennessee State University, with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, and the American Bankers Association’s Stonier Graduate School of Banking. He and his wife, Kathy, have two children, Allison and Adam, and reside in Kingsport, TN.
