JONESVILLE, VA—Powell Valley National Bank (PVB, Bank) is pleased to announce its recent purchase with plans to pursue opening a new full service office in Kingsport, Tennessee pending regulatory approval.
In 2014, PVB opened a loan production office in Downtown Kingsport on Broad Street to service loan customers in the Greater Kingsport, Sullivan County, and Hawkins County areas. After 3 years of business in the market, Powell Valley National Bank decided to expand its presence with the purchase of a former bank building located at 240 West Center Street. The building, constructed in 1959, is a landmark in Downtown Kingsport. While preserving the exterior of this institution, the Bank contracted GRC Construction and Cain Rash West Architects to renovate the historic building, and construction and improvements are currently underway. PVB anticipates the office opening in the summer of 2018. The new office will feature a full-service, state of the art facility including a drive thru and ATM machine, and fully staffed team of experienced banking professionals.

PVB’s loan production office located at 217 Broad Street Suite 102 will continue to serve loan customers until the new office opens.
