Jonesville, VA – Powell Valley National Bank (PVNB, Bank) is pleased to announce the promotion of Wayne Largen to Assistant Vice President.
Largen is a veteran of the banking industry. He has nearly 30 years of community banking experience with a diverse background in many different areas of the industry. Wayne began his banking career as a personal investment banker, and later became a loan officer and officer manager for a local community bank. Largen also had the opportunity to work in bank operations with special projects, new product development, and special assets.
In his current role at PVNB, Largen manages the bank’s vendor management program and works closely with the chief financial officer in accounting operations. Most recently, Largen was named chairman of the bank’s newly established Electronic Banking Committee.

Largen is a native of Martinsville, VA. He holds an undergraduate degree from Emory and Henry College, and a Master of Business Administration degree from Bowling Green State University. Wayne and his wife, Ginger, have two sons, Matthew and Chris. They are members of Abingdon United Methodist Church and reside in Abingdon, VA.
