Jonesville, VA – Powell Valley National Bank (PVB, Bank) is pleased to announce the promotion of Tammy Large to Compliance Officer.

Large joined PVB in 2001 in the Jonesville Office.  Over the last 20 years, Tammy has worked in several different capacities across bank operations.  She began her career in the bank’s bookkeeping department, and later managed tasks in the bank’s information technology department before moving into the role of PVB’s BSA Officer.  As Compliance and BSA Officer for PVB, Large is responsible for managing all facets of regulatory compliance affecting bank operations including regulatory reporting for the Bank Secrecy Act.  She maintains compliance policies and business procedures for integration of regulatory requirements and industry best practices.

Tammy is a native of Pennington Gap, VA.  She attended Mountain Empire Community College and Virginia Intermont College, and is a graduate of Pennington Gap High School.  Tammy has two children, Brandi and Ashley, and three grandchildren.  She resides in Pennington Gap, VA.
