Powell Valley National Bank Promotes Roy Richmond

Jonesville, VA – Powell Valley National Bank (PVB, Bank) is pleased to announce the promotion of Roy Richmond to Assistant Vice President and Loan Officer.

Richmond joined PVB in 2018 at the Kingsport Office as a Consumer Relationship Manager.  Richmond has worked in a variety of departments and positions throughout his 16-year banking career.

Richmond is a recipient of the 28th Annual Class of The Tri-Cities Business Journal’s 40 Under 40, which honors the rising stars of our region’s business community.  Roy is actively engaged in his community and is currently serving as Treasurer for the Board of Directors of HOPE (Help Our Potential Evolve).  Over the years he has served on other boards and committees across Kingsport including the Downtown Kingsport Association’s Economic Vitality and Tree Lighting Committees.  Richmond has also volunteered for several other nonprofit organizations across the region including Meals on Wheels, Holston Habitat for Humanity, United Way Greater Kingsport, and Racks by the Tracks.

Richmond was born in Kingsport and raised in Church Hill, TN.  He is a 2004 graduate of Milligan College, where he was a member of the men’s basketball team.  Roy and his fiancé, Christina, have one daughter, Amora, and reside in Kingsport.
