Jonesville, VA–Powell Valley National Bank (PVB, Bank) is pleased to announce the promotion of Mary Beth Baker as Senior Vice President, Mortgage Lending & Retail Loan Administrator.

Mary Beth has served as a community banker representing Powell Valley National Bank for over 20 years.  She is a graduate of the Virginia Bankers Association’s School of Bank Management.  Mary Beth has served as a member and representative of the Mortgage Executives Committee for the Virginia Bankers Association, the Mortgage Markets Committee for the American Bankers Association, and the Virginia Mortgage Lenders Association.

Mary Beth, a native of Lee County, holds a degree in Organizational Management from Tusculum College where she graduated with honors.  She and her husband, Grant, have two children, Olivia and Walker.  As a family they enjoy playing golf, supporting youth athletics, and are active members of Friendship Baptist Church in Jonesville.
