Jonesville, VA – Powell Valley National Bank (PVB, Bank) is pleased to announce the promotion of Angie Surber Combs to Assistant Vice President.

Combs joined Powell Valley National Bank in 1984.  Over the last 37 years of dedicated service, Combs has held a wide range of responsibilities, with the majority of her time working in bank operations.   Angie’s primary responsibilities are in the Information Technology Department managing daily transaction activities.

“Angie plays a vital role in promoting PVB and its future, as we strive to stay on the forefront of operational efficiency and customer service,” stated Powell Valley National Bank President and CEO, Leton L. Harding Jr.  “She also provides experienced guidance and mentorship to our teller and proof operations.”

Combs is a native of Jonesville and graduate of Jonesville High School.  Angie has two children, Dustin and Nick Whited.  She is married to Thomas Combs, and they attend Community Christian Church of Rose Hill, VA.
