Jonesville, VA—Powell Valley National Bank (PVB, Bank) is pleased to announce that Larry Presley, Executive Vice President, will become the leader of the newly established Finance and Investment Division of the bank. 

Presley joined PVB in 1975 and has served in a number of critical management roles during his 46 years of service to the bank.  Larry’s tremendous knowledge and experience in all facets of the banking industry, but particularly his expertise in finance and investments, along with his leadership, will ensure the success of the new division.

Harding, Jr.  “Given the bank’s nearly $100 million growth over the past three years, our board determined that focused and experienced leadership would benefit the management of the deposit, investment, and related services for our customers and the communities we serve.”

Presley is a native of Jonesville, VA.  He holds an undergraduate degree in Business Administration and Finance from Union College, and he is a graduate of the Virginia Bankers Association’s School of Bank Management.  Larry and his wife, Doris, attend Friendship Baptist Church and reside in Jonesville, VA.
