Powell Valley National Bank Names Browning Wynn, II as Market Executive

Jonesville, VA–Powell Valley National Bank (PVB, Bank) is pleased to announce the promotion of Browning Wynn II, Senior Vice President, to Market Executive for the bank’s Lee and Scott Counties, Virginia markets.

Wynn joined PVB in 2012 as a commercial and agricultural loan officer.  Prior to a career in the banking industry, he worked as a staff member for former United States Senator, George Allen, from Virginia. 

In his new role, Wynn will lead the management activities of his markets to support growth and development of retail, small business, and commercial products and services.

Harding, Jr.  “Browning’s knowledge of the region, coupled with the heritage and history of our bank, provides vital perspective as we build strategies to drive growth across our business lines in the Lee and Scott counties markets.  In his new position, he will work to expand the bank’s products and services to two strategically important areas while continuing to service his existing customers and clients.”

Wynn is a native of Jonesville, VA.  He is a 1997 graduate of Lee High School and a 2001 graduate of Virginia Tech where he played football for the Hokies.  He is a graduate of the Virginia Bankers Association’s School of Bank Management.  Browning and his wife, Summer, have four children, Ella, Cutchin, Molly, and Porter, and reside in Jonesville, VA.
