Karen Wright Joins Powell Valley National Bank

Jonesville, VA, Powell Valley National Bank (PVB, Bank) is pleased to announce that Karen Wright has joined the Bank as Auditor.

Karen is a native of Washington County, VA.  She has over 20 years of financial industry experience, most recently as Vice President and Senior Internal Audit Officer for Highlands Union Bank in Abingdon, Virginia.  Karen holds the title of Certified Information Systems Auditor from the ISACA, an international professional association focused on IT governance, and she is a Certified Community Bank Internal Auditor through the Independent Community Bankers of America.

Karen is a graduate of Virginia Intermont College with a degree in Organizational Management.  She and her husband, Larry, have two children, Lauren and Justin, along with two new granddaughters, Eliza and Isabel.   They reside in Bristol, VA.
