Jonesville, Virginia–Powell Valley National Bank (PVB, Bank) is pleased to announce Derrick Allen has joined the bank as a Management Trainee.

A native of Norton, Virginia, Derrick holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Virginia’s College at Wise. During his time in college, he served as treasurer for Pi Kappa Phi and helped donate $2500 to their philanthropy, “the ability experience.” He served in various volunteer roles including the annual Benefactors Dinner. He also taught a freshman seminar class on investing. Derrick’s hobbies include golfing, investing, and spending time with family.
