• Never give account information to anyone that you do not know.  Be especially cautious if you receive a telephone call, email, or text message from someone claiming to be from a bank, credit/debit card company, or law enforcement agency.  

• If you have not initiated the contact, do not give any personal information over the phone, via a text message, email, or on the Internet.

• Promptly review your monthly statements and report anything in question.  Sign up for online banking to be able to view your account anytime.

• Never email or text any personal information such as social security number or account numbers.

• Never carry you social security number in your wallet.
